STOMPING AT THE SAVOY
Loosely based on the Benny Goodman Trio, PALOMAR explores the genre of 1930’s swing known as ‘Chamber Jazz’. In addition to performing such classics as ‘After You’ve Gone’ and ‘Avalon’ the Palomar trio will play compositions of other great jazz artists from Jelly Roll Morton to Goodman’s arch-rival Artie Shaw, peppered with anecdotes and stories from the swing era.
